Volunteer

“Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” – Muhammad Ali

Thank you, volunteers, for taking interest in helping our schools and by giving your time and your hearts. So much of the work done not only in our schools, but also throughout the city, would not be accomplished without the dedication and service of volunteers from around the globe. As our Country, our City and our District continue to work towards improving New Orleans public schools, there is always a place for the work of volunteers. Whether it is assisting at a KaBOOM! build, coming to help paint on a Saturday, tutoring students or assisting on a variety of projects throughout the week, the work for a volunteer is never done. It is always amazing the great work that can be accomplished through the power of numbers and we invite all, whether an individual or a group, to come and spend some time learning about the city, the schools and the power of service. Please visit the Volunteer Contact Form page to submit your information. Any other questions, contact Troy Peloquin at troy.peloquin@rsdla.net.
